Horsemanship Sessions
Build a relationship.
Sessions focus on connection, not just control. With a blend of Natural Horsemanship, equine behaviorism, and trauma-informed teaching, students learn to ride and relate through a nervous system lens.
Confidence, choice, and clarity guide every session. You don’t quit what you’re good at!
Students of all ages should expect to gain a solid beginner/intermediate Western or English riding seat, versatile groundwork skills, and the ability to read and respond to horses….especially those they don’t know.
Whether you’re a first-time rider or refining your connection with your own horse, this is where trust and true understanding start.

Bring your own horse to the farm or I can come to you!
Experience a training approach that builds both confidence in yourself and your horse, not just obedience. Whether your horse needs a tune-up or you’re working through specific challenges, I offer a behavior-based, nervous system based approach that blends both positive and negative reinforcement with a strong foundation in equine ethology.
Horses are encouraged to express themselves, and training is built around understanding their behavior, not just correcting it.
Ideal for owners seeking a deeper connection and long-term progress with their horse.

Horses, tack, and everything needed for the lesson is provided, just bring yourself and some appropriate clothing!
As of 2025, prices have raised to be competitive with other local offerings, thank you for understanding!
Individual Horsemanship Lesson (On-Site) - $60 per hour
Grouped Horsemanship Lesson (x2 or more handlers; On-Site) - $50 per student, per hour

At this time, Borderless charges the following for on property training:
P&P Legacy Pasture Boarding - $350 per horse. Separate contract and agreement will be expected from owner.
Borderless Horsemanship Training - $550 a month (may be prorated at owners request and Borderless’s availability) - This includes handling up to x4 a week, and session observations during the course of the horses training up to x1 per week at no additional charge. Sessions must be scheduled ahead of time, and must align with Lesson Scheduling.
Diet and Nutrition: In an effort to support the horse to the fullest extent during training, I require all clients leaving their horses in my care to tailor a forage-based diet for the horse while in training. Owner may provide the diet themselves, or can purchase feed directly from P&P Legacy Farms to be added onto monthly rate. This must be discussed and agreed upon before the horses arrival.
Total = $900 per month + Cost of Dietary needs
Commitment of at least 3 months is required before arrival. Payment is not due upfront for the 3+ months.
